Thanks, Michael, it's reall three bracketed exposures layered together in Photoshop. I've started to do this a lot lately because i like the way it gives you a bigger range of tones to play with. I mash them together by hand rather than use something like photomatix - photomatix does the exposure blending perfectly, but I prefer to have a bit more control.
