Sugarloaf

Posted by Mick O'Dwyer (Dublin, Ireland) on 27 November 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

The pointy bit off in the distance is the Sugarloaf. When I was growing up and being taken for Sunday outings with my brother we used pass by here and it was always a place I wished I lived, with this almost exact view. Where I live now isn't here, but it does have rolling hills and a sense of space and distance which is good for the soul. Could never go back to living in the city - there's lots of good things about living close to the city centre, but these days cities mostly make me feel claustrophobic.
